Effective as of July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information PPL LLC ("PPL," "we," "our," or "us") collects when you use the PPL app or visit ppl.xyz, how we use and share that information, and what choices you have. By using PPL, you agree to this policy. Your use of the app is also governed by our Terms of Use at ppl.xyz/terms.
Information you give us directly
Registration. When you create an account with Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email address.
Content and prompts. We collect everything you create or submit through PPL — text, images, video prompts, story prompts, AI-generated videos and images, edits and variations, and content you share with the community.
Messages to us. If you contact support or submit a report, we collect and store that communication including date, time, and how it was resolved.
Surveys and polls. If you participate in optional research, we collect your responses and any additional details you provide.
Information we collect automatically
Usage data. We collect information about how you use PPL — which features you use, when and for how long, what content you engage with, and your IP address.
Device information. We collect information about your device — hardware model, operating system, browser type, advertising identifiers (Apple IDFA, Google Advertising ID), unique device identifiers, and mobile network information. Where you've given permission, this may include GPS location and camera or photo library access.
Content you create. We collect and store all content generated through PPL, including AI generation prompts and outputs.
Cookies and similar technologies. We and our advertising partners use cookies and web beacons to collect information across sessions. You can manage cookie settings in your browser, though disabling cookies may limit some features.
Information from third parties
Third-party sign-in. When you use Apple or Google to create your account, we receive basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) from those services.
Advertising and analytics partners. We may receive interest and behavior data from third-party partners to help personalize ads and improve our services.
We use the information we collect to:
Run and improve the service: operate PPL's features, process your content creation requests, register you for new features, and develop new functionality based on how users engage with the app.
Personalize your experience: surface content and suggestions relevant to you.
Communicate with you: respond to support requests, send product updates, and notify you of relevant activity via push notifications.
Keep PPL safe: detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations. This may include scanning content for inappropriate material.
Serve advertising: deliver ads personalized to your interests and behavior. See Section 5 for your choices.
Meet legal obligations: enforce our Terms of Use, respond to lawful requests from authorities, and protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
With other users. Content you post on PPL is visible to the community as part of the normal operation of the service.
With service providers. We share information with vendors who help us operate PPL — including hosting, payments, customer support, analytics, and content moderation.
With AI generation partners. When you submit a prompt to create content, your prompt and related data are passed to third-party AI providers (such as video and image generation services). Those providers may use this information as described in their own privacy policies, including to train their models. We encourage you to review those policies.
With advertising partners. We work with third-party ad networks. See Section 5 for opt-out options.
With affiliated companies. We may share information with PPL's affiliated companies and subsidiaries for the purposes described in this policy.
For legal reasons. We may disclose your information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of PPL, our users, or the public.
In a business transaction. If PPL is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With your consent. We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit permission.
Update your profile. You can edit your account information in the app settings.
Delete your account. Email info@ppl.xyz to request account deletion. Some information may remain visible to other users or be retained as required by law.
Block or report users. Use the in-app controls to block accounts or report harmful behavior.
Marketing emails. Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in the footer. You'll still receive transactional messages related to your account.
We participate in interest-based advertising. To opt out:
Desktop/mobile browser: Visit the Digital Advertising Alliance at aboutads.info/choices or the Network Advertising Initiative at networkadvertising.org/choices.
Mobile app: Download the DAA's AppChoices app at aboutads.info/appchoices.
Device settings: Use your device's built-in option to limit ad tracking.
Opting out means you'll see fewer relevant ads — not no ads.
Do Not Track: There is no accepted industry standard for Do Not Track signals, and we do not currently respond to them.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption of content files. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or through our services.
PPL's servers are located in the United States. If you access PPL from outside the US, your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the US. US law may not provide the same level of privacy protection as the law in your country.
For users in the European Union: PPL acts as both a controller and processor of your personal data. We rely on the following legal bases to process your information:
Contract: to fulfill our agreement with you (for example, to process your content requests).
Legitimate interests: for safety, fraud prevention, product improvement, and customer support — where our interests don't override your privacy rights.
Legal obligations: to comply with law enforcement requests and legal process.
Consent: where no other basis applies, we will ask for your consent and you may withdraw it at any time.
We transfer personal data from the EU to the US using Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
EU Rights. In addition to the rights described elsewhere in this policy, EU residents have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, request erasure of their data, and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@ppl.xyz. You also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
PPL is for users who are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, if older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have done so, we will delete it promptly.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@ppl.xyz.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via the app, email, or another prominent notice. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
